The City Open cover is waterproof (IPX5), treated and painted to resist to major weather conditions over time. All the inner components have been specifically designed to allow correct boiler operation up to -10 °C.
Italtherm has developed the ICS (Intelligent Combustion System). Thanks to this system, City Open can be considered an intelligent boiler, checking, regulating and adapting itself independently.
Italtherm has designed a range of condensing boilers to semplify the ducting. With City Open it's possible to discharge with a Ø 50 mm rigid and flexible pipe > 40m.
Italtherm has designed and developed a new stainless steel heat exchanger with extra wide water passages: the inner section of the coils has been increased by 4 times in comparison to the market standards.
These components, together with the ICS, have been specially designed to increase the modulation range up to 1:10.
City Open can operate with all types of gas without replacing the nozzles. The ICS recognizes the gas type and automatically fits to it.
City Open is equipped with control inside the boiler, for services maintenance operations
Italtherm keeps using the brass on its hydraulic units to ensure maximum reliability and robustness of its products.
This particular siphon, developed by Italtherm, doesn't require the initial water filling during set up.
